OERLIKON OVERCORD welding electrode

Description

A moderately coated rutile-cellulosic electrode designed for versatile welding of steel structures, suitable for both heavy industry applications and workshop use.

It performs well when welding in all positions, with particularly good results in the vertical down position. The electrode can be used with the same welding current settings regardless of the welding position.

An important advantage of this electrode is the ease of arc ignition, both at the start of welding and during re-ignition.

The strong and concentrated arc allows effective welding of galvanized components, parts coated with protective primer, or slightly corroded materials.

The electrode is also suitable for use with small transformer welding machines.

Storage: Store in a dry place. Drying is not required, but if necessary: 100-110°C for 1 hour.
