Kjellberg

The Kjellberg Finsterwalde group of companies originates from the former Kjellberg Finsterwalde Elektroden und Maschinen GmbH, founded by Swedish inventor and entrepreneur Oscar Kjellberg. In 1908, he received a German patent for the coated electrode, which initiated the development of modern welding. Operating in Germany and continuing the tradition under the name Kjellberg Finsterwalde, the company has spent decades building its position in the industry. Today, the companies within this group are among the world's leading manufacturers of welding electrodes, welding technologies, and plasma cutting systems.
